Defunct GMA-7 teen show “Boys Nxt Door” to be aired in Malaysia and South Korea

Philippine Entertainment PortalAs a sign of world-class quality, GMA-7’s defunct teen show Boys Nxt Door will be aired on 8TV in Malaysia and will be the first-ever Filipino drama to be aired in South Korea.
Nakatanggap kami ng written report na nabili ng 8TV ng Malaysia at KBS Drama ng South Korea ang rights to air the Jun Lana teen show starring Marky Cielo, Glaiza de Castro, Jennica Garcia, and the StarStruck 4 teens Mart Escudero, Aljur Abrenica, Kris Bernal, Rich Asuncion, Kiko Juinio, and Jessie Corcuera.
Boys Nxt Door is scheduled to air in April both in Malaysia and South Korea. It will be dubbed in Malay for the Malaysian version at may English subtitle naman for the Korean version.
8TV is a Free TV station in Malaysia that offers a large variety of popular series and movies. Young, hip and modern ang target audience ng 8TV. Together with three channels TV3, NTV7, and TV9, 8TV is from the largest media group in Malaysia collectively known as Media Prima.
Media Prima controls approximately 54 percent of Malaysian television viewership.
Meanwhile, KBS Drama is one of the four pay TV channels managed and operated by KBS N, a subsidiary company of KBS. KBS is South Korea’s premier public broadcaster and the biggest one of the three major Korean television networks.
KBS Drama is carried by more than one hundred cable operators in Korea and Skylife, the only satellite television provider in South Korea.

eh di ba yung Crazy for You ng dos ang unang Filipino series na pinalabas sa Korea? Halos magkasabay ang airing sa Korea at sa Pinas. Matagal ng na-penetrate Southeast Asian market ng Dos. May pinoy series nang naunang ipalabas hindi lang sa Mexico kundi sa iba pang Latin countries. So ABS paved the way for Pinoy series to be exported outside the country. ABS series made it big in Africa and Asia and are now to be broadcasted in Europe. Hindi na bago yang ganyang news. Goodluck sa series nyo. Let’s see if it can duplicate “Sana Maulit Muli”’s success in Taiwan =D
